If you’re thinking of going on spa breaks in the UK and are looking for a hotel, here are a few suggestions. There are obviously many, many more, from self-catering to 4 and 5-star luxury hotels, but we hope the ones below will get you started!
Stone House Hotel & Spa
Stone House Hotel & Spa is at Stone, Staffordshire with its serene environment. This stylish four-star hotel has 105 rooms. It has a lovely terrace that overlooks the beach and bay – you even get a view over the bay when you’re relaxing or swimming in the heated indoor pool!
There’s a choice of four restaurants and a host of other amenities, including spa facilities such as a sauna, steam room, gym, and treatment rooms. This hotel is a great destination for a couple spa breaks UK
Seymour Tower
Seymour Tower is certainly not four-star and isn’t technically a hotel but we thought we’d include it as it does provide alternative accommodation to visitors on holiday in Jersey. It was built in 1782 as part of the island’s defenses and is about 2 km out to sea. It has since been converted into a place to stay, although living accommodation is more fun than luxurious.
The living room and kitchen are on the ground floor, as is the kitchen. There are beds on the ground floor and first floors, four bunk beds in total. The bathroom is basic, so be warned!
Dolphin Hotel
This 2-star hotel is in Gorey under the old Mont Orgueil Castle, so is great for those wanting to explore some of the historic sights of Jersey or looking for a slower pace during their holiday in Jersey. Enjoy dinner on the terrace while you take in the view. The restaurant, which has a good reputation, is open every day offering a continental menu with a good selection of seafood with fish caught locally from the harbor and waters around the island.
Bedrooms are en-suite and come equipped with many facilities to make your Jersey holiday as pleasant and relaxing as possible.
